The auto unit has an attractive, silver metallic finish with pressure gauges that are easy to read, rugged nylon handles, bilingual instructions and a six year warranty. Uses a Sodium Bicarbonate dry chemical, which will not harm metal and works particularly well on electrical fires and flammable fuels.

The Kidde Vehicle 2.5 lb. 1A:10-B:C Fire Extinguisher contains non toxic monomonium phosphate to put out wood, paper and cloth fires that BC chemical extinguishers won't. It can be used on Class A (wood & paper), Class B (liquids & gases) and Class C fires (energized electrical equipment). It includes a steel strap bracket to secure the fire extinguisher to a vehicle.
