Eflare LED Intrinsically Safe Warning Beacons are the safest and most visible flare technology out on the market today. The light from the Eflare can be seen from 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile away with clarity. As with strobe and incandescent flares where there can be distance judgement problems, with the E-Flare there are no such issues. When compared to the standard pyrotechnic flares, there is no risk of fire, explosion, or toxic fumes. After use there is no left over residue and no cleanup is necessary. Just pick the eflares after use and place them in the compact storage bag and back into your vehicle. The Eflare AT290 is offered in 5 colors, AT290-A (Amber), AT290-R (Red), AT290-B (Blue), AT290-G (Green), and AT290-W (White).

The AT290 Series E-Flare is HAZMAT Accredited for use in Class 1, Division 2/Zone 2 hazardous areas. These Eflares are dustproof and waterproof and will survive a drop from one meter height onto a concrete surface. The Eflare costs only 4 cents an hour to run and operates on four (4) alkaline AA-cell batteries that will have a life of up to 40 hours. It's shatterproof 360º polycarbonate fresnel lens ensures maximum clarity and shock resistance which is maximized by an impact resistant ABS body. Other attributes consist of visibility to 1 kilometer (.62 mile), precision O-rings to ensure the beacon is waterproof and dust-proof, advanced battery protection to protect circuits and batteries from shock, high strength clips to attach to to cones, signs , belts or vehicle windows.
