Sorbents

Sorbents are made out of materials that soak up spills, leaks and drips.  They can be made from either synthetic or organic materials.  Some sorbents absorb water, oil and chemicals while others only absorb oil.  There are special hazmat types that are made to absorb hazardous chemicals.    Applications are for maintenance and for emergency clean up.  OSHA stipulates in OSHA 29 CRF 1910.22(a)(2) that the floor of every workroom shall be maintained in a clean and dry condition. You can choose Universal, General Purpose, Oil Only, Hazmat and Meltdown sorbents for your facilities needs.
